Steel grid, also known as steel grid plate or grid plate, is a type of steel product made by arranging flat steel bars at certain intervals and crossing them with horizontal bars to form a square grid pattern that is welded in the middle. It is mainly used as a cover for water ditches, a platform plate for steel structures, and a step plate for steel stairs. The horizontal bars are generally made of twisted square steel. Steel grid is usually made of carbon steel, with a hot-dip galvanized surface to prevent oxidation. It can also be made of stainless steel.

Spacing between vertical strips: conventionally 30, 40, 60 (mm); there are also non-standard spacing: 25, 34, 35, 50, etc.;

Steel grid ceiling

Steel grid walkway

The installation of the steel grid walkway has two kinds of welding and bolting. The surface of the product is treated with hot-dip galvanizing. It has the advantages of being beautiful and firm, easy installation, and maintenance-free. Steel grid walkway can largely replace traditional stair treads, because it is corrosion-resistant, non-deformable, easier to drain, non-slip and anti-fall, etc.

High-density steel grid

The high-density steel grating refers to pressure-welded steel grating with a bearing flat steel spacing of less than 25mm. In addition to having the advantages of beautiful form and easy installation of standard pressure-welded steel grating, it also meets the strict requirements for the size of objects passing through or leaking on some special occasions.

Stainless steel grid

Stainless steel grids are manufactured using a process similar to that of ordinary steel grids. However, unlike ordinary steel grids, they don’t require anti-corrosion treatments such as painting or hot-dip galvanizing. Instead, they undergo surface polishing to remove welding residue or scars left during the welding process.
